Makell is officially potty trained!!! Yay!!! We started back in January with the whole process. It was a little rough in the beginning. She loves gum and seldom had it. I took her to Wal-Mart and told her that if she started going pee pee on the potty we would buy a gum ball machine. Every time she would pee pee or "the other" I would give her a penny to put in her machine and she could get a gum ball !! The gum ball machine worked GREAT!!!! It was also a great way to teach colors! The anticipation of what color gum ball was going to roll out was sooo exciting for her!!
She seldom has accidents any more. She was outside playing and stopped what she was doing to run inside to use the potty!!
GOOD JOB MAKELL!!!! We are sooo proud of you!!! What a BIG GIRL!!!!

What a Mess!!!!
I had to share these pictures!! I laugh every time I see them! Our child definitely loves chocolate!! I ran to the store with her and if all kids are alike they beg for some kind of a treat. Makell chose a chocolate cupcake. I told her she couldn't eat it until we were home.
On the way out of the store she began to ask and fuss over her treat!! I told her she could hold it on the way home but she could NOT eat it!! She reassured me she would JUST hold it!! (What was I thinking!!)
The ride home was so peaceful and calm. I didn't hear a word out of her!!(1st red flag!!) I was focused on driving so I never turned around to witness what was happening!!! As we arrived home I pulled into the garage, turned around and found this!!! I started laughing out loud!!! I took her out of her car seat and ran to get my camera. I guess you could say that chocolate was just to big of a temptation!!!

A School Tradition!!!
The Elementary School has a tradition where the kindergarten students have to come up with an idea of how to protect an egg from breaking/cracking as it is thrown off the roof of the school. This was Kaitlyn's idea!!! She wrapped her egg in bubble wrap several times and then attached little balloons to help absorb the impact!! I thought she did a great job!! It looked really cute as well!!!!
This was her package as it was thrown off the roof!! A little problem. Where are all the balloons? It was so funny to sit and watch these kindergarten kids laugh and holler as their package hit and splatter on the pavement!! What things little kids are amused and entertained with!!!!
It turned out to be a really cold and windy day. It even started to snow a little. Some of her balloons didn't make it. Some blew away and others popped. After it hit the ground this is what was left!!
All the kids unwrapped their packages to see if the egg had survived the impact!! Unfortunately Kaitlyn's egg didn't survive!! It was still a lot of FUN!!!!! Good job Kaitlyn!!!!

Easter Sunday
Happy Easter Sunday!! I think they look so cute!! I love dressing my girls in the same outfits. I used to do it before Makell was born but know it is so hard to find things alike where there is such a wide size difference. Thanks to my sister-in-law Mubeen for telling me about these super cute dresses.

Can you tell Makell loves to get her picture taken! Although she had already been in her Easter candy!
Coloring Easter Eggs!!
The girls colored Easter eggs last night. They think it is absolutely great!! I love to see their imagination on how they decorate their eggs!!
Painting with glitter!!
Everyone wanted to use glitter. The wanted girly eggs!!!Makell thought the more glitter used the pretty they look!! I thought the more glitter used the bigger the mess!!
The 2008 annual Easter Egg Hunt
It was time again for the 2008 annual Easter Egg Hunt!! While I was growing up this was one of our family traditions!! We never missed a year. (just ask dad!! HaHaHa) Adam and I have made this one of our family traditions as well. The kids get so excited!! Different business through out the city donate and sponser this event. They have a lot of fun and neat prizes the kids can win. They group the kids according to age so it makes it fair for everyone participating. This year Makell really understood what she was suppost to do. The kids wait for the fire truck siren to blow and take off to hunt for their eggs!! It's crazy but fun!!! We gathered all the kids together and they started opening thier eggs to see what they had won. Kaitlyn opened one of her eggs and found a red paperthat said, GRAND PRIZE WINNER!! You have won a new bike!!! Oh my goodness was that kid ever excited!! They took a picture of her and her new bike infront of the fire truck. She thought that was just as neat as winning the bike!! She asked me late if that meant she was a Star because it is going to be published in the news paper! She is so funny!!
Kourtney has had a lot of "experience" with the egg hunt but still thoroughly enjoys it!!
The winning ticket and her new bike!!

A Day of Pretend!!
We had a fun day of playing pretend!!! Adam and I spent yesterday cleaning and organizing the storage room. I came across my wedding dress that has now been in storage for over twelve years. Wow, how time flies!!! The girls kept asking if they could try it on. My thought, WHY NOT!!!! When I was little I absolutely loved playing dress-ups! Being the only girl and having three brothers I was usually on my own when it came to putting on frilly dresses and being all girly! They each took their turn putting the dress on and acting so grown up. It was so fun to watch them laugh and giggle with each other. Having three little girls brings new and exciting experiences every day!! I am so grateful that we were sent these three wonderful little spirits!! They bring soooo much joy and happiness to our lives!! Adam (dad) did not like the event as much as the rest of us! He has a hard time thinking his three little princess are growing up! I guess it was a glimpse of what the future will bring. He told them that he was glad they all had another "thirty " years before anything like that would happen!! Kourtney said, "I will be 38." Adam's response was , "You just remember that magical number 38!!" What a protective dad he is!! I can't wait to see what he fun adventures the future will bring!!!What a wonderful big sister Kourtney is!!!
Kaitlyn sure has the pose thing down!
Makell loves to play and act older than she is!! She is always wanting to be like her older sisters!!
