Makell's Party!

Friday night Makell celebrated her birthday with the family! We had a BBQ with cake and ice cream! I took the girls shopping that morning and all we heard was non stop singing of , "Happy Birthday to Makelly, Happy birthday to ME!!" She was fully aware it was her special day!! She couldn't wait till everyone had the chance to sing it to her infront of her cake and candles!
I have to say Makell was spoiled once again! Puzzles, clothes, purses, money, hair bows and of course a new baby! We all welcomed another baby doll "Hallie" to the family! (I think we have about 6 Hallie's now) Thanks to everyone for making her day so special!

Makell turns THREE!!

I can't believe my baby turns three today!! She is not much of a baby anymore! Makell is the sunshine in our lives! Makell arrived two weeks early to join our family. September 26th was a day full of surprises! I had an appointment at the hospital for a stress test early Monday morning. The last couple months of my pregnancy's I tend to frequent the stress test labs on a regular basis. While I was being checked they found my amniotic fluid was practically gone and Makell was showing signs of stress. On top of all of that she was breach!! We had no idea! Since there was no possible way of trying to turn her with no amniotic fluid I was not allowed to leave the hospital and scheduled for a C-section!
Makell has been such a joy and blessing to our family!! She does funny little things that makes everyone smile and laugh!! I suppose her personality patterns the way she entered this world! She is full of one surprise after another and never know what will happen next!! I am so blessed to have been given the opportunity to be this little girls mother!! Happy 3rd Birthday Makell!!We love you so much!! I will post pictures of her party later.

First Date Continued!

What a gentleman! Adam sure has set the standard high for any boy in the future that wants to date our daughters! They better show up at the front door with flowers, always opens the car door for them, makes them smile and laugh, and treats them like daddy's little princess!! (hahaha)

First Date!

This evening was Kourtney's first Activity Day's Daddy Daughter Date!!! Who better to go on a first date with than her own DAD!!!! Kourtney was so excited!! I can't believe she is growing up so quickly! Their evening started off with Adam picking her up at the door with a corsage in hand! Her face lit up when she saw it!! Flowers will always make a girl feel special!! They enjoyed a special evening together with dinner and Ball Room dancing! Adam said she had a perma-grin the whole time! I am so grateful for Adam and for making the girls feel so special! He has such a special relationship with each one of them. Nothing means more than quality time spent with a child. Thank you Adam for being that wonderful role model of a father! Don't they look soooo cute?!!!






The door bell rang and Kourtney answered it to find her dad picking her up for their date!! She had a big smile on her face!!









Kourtney's favorite color is blue so if you notice in the first picture Adam ordered a corsage with white roses and blue ribbon and tried to coordinate his tie to match!! Oh, what a thoughtful dad!!

Makell's 1st Hair cut!

Yea!!! She still has a lot of curl left! Doesn't she look so cute with her new style?!!












Makell will turn three in a little over a week and can you believe she has never had her hair cut?!! Well today was her big day!! I guess you could say I just couldn't get myself to have all those curls cut off! She has been so excited! We have had to make a rule at our house that we can't do anything to change the style of their hair unless we went to Kathy's!! (had to put an end to the kids thinking they could be their own hairstylist with scissors!) I wouldn't say patiently but Makell has been anxiously awaiting for several weeks now and asking everyday if it was the "day" to get her hair cut!!!! I really don't know if it was the hair cut itself or she couldn't wait for the chance to play with the dogs!!






She was such a big girl and held so still!




















I think she likes to be pampered!! She looks like she could sit there all day and just relax.

Happy Anniversary!!!

Where does the time go?!! Twelve years ago today I married my sweet heart for Time and all Eternity in the Jordan River LDS Temple!! It seems like it was yesterday!! What a wonderful journey our life has been so far and I am so excited to see what the future will bring!! We have three wonderful little girls that have blessed our lives in more ways than we can express. Since we are celebrating twelve years today I thought I would share twelve reasons why I love Adam!
1-There is never a day that passes that he doesn't tell me he loves me! 2- I love the way he makes me laugh! 3- I am grateful for his strong testimony of the gospel! 4-I am grateful for his dedication to put his family first! 5- He works hard to support our family! 6- His smile brightens and makes my day! 7- I love the relationships he has with our 3 daughters! 8- I am grateful that he honors his priesthood that blesses our lives! 9- After twelve years he still opens the car door for me! 10- He calls me during his busy day to just hello! 11- He is my best friend! 12- I love the way he is always giving compliments!
He is the sunshine in my life!!! I love you Adam and am grateful for the life we have made together!! Happy Anniversary!!

Makell's First Day of Preschool!!

It was Makell's first day of Preschool/Play group yesterday!! She was so excited!! The first thing she asked me at 6:45 a.m. was; " I go to preschool today"!! We figured she probably dreamed about it all night because when she woke up her little mouth wouldn't stop moving and talking about it!! It was so funny to see her soooo excited!! Like I have said many times before she is our little poser!! One things is for certain she is not camera shy!!
Before we were getting ready to leave she ran down stairs and found "her" back pack. She assured me that this was hers now because the other girls have different ones! Don't you like how it is as big as she is!! There was no leaving the house without it!!













I can hardly see her behind that that backpack!!
She had to show us some of the fun things she did at school. Each child brought a snack to share so they could combine and make trail mix. She loved it! She was so proud of her hand print that is is now displayed front and center in the kitchen!!

Birthday Bash!

I admit, I've been a slacker on posting lately! Last week was a little crazy! So, finally here are a few pictures from Kourtney's birthday parties!! Three parties were not in the original plan but with extended family getting sick this is how it all worked out! While Kourtney and Kaitlyn were at school Makell and I made a little poster with balloons to surprise her when she arrived home! She loved it and the smile on her face was priceless!! Adam arrived home with a surprise for her as well. Flowers!! Can you believe he has never missed any ones birthday or Valentines Day without bringing flowers home!! Isn't he awesome!! It totally make us feel special!! It was fun to celebrate and watch her unwrap gifts on her special day!! On Thursday after family members were feeling better we had an extended family party! I have to say Kourtney got spoiled!! Then on Friday Kourtney had a friend party. It was a "Late night pajama B-Day party"!! 15 girls came and although it was really loud it was a lot of fun!! (sorry to all our neighbors!) They had a ball!! They ate pizza, had a dress up race, jump rope contest, they made Kourt a new b-day outfit (out of paper towel, toilet paper, & crape paper(sp?)), painted nails, musical squares, and made fruit bagels! Wow! A lot packed into one evening!!
