Thought for the Day

Earlier this week I was browsing the Internet for a lesson I needed to prepare and came across this message or thought and LOVED it! I thought I would share.

The Home is the Most Significant Classroom
Perhaps the most significant classrooms is the classroom of the home. It is in the home that we form our attitudes, our deeply held beliefs. It is in the home that hope is fostered or destroyed. Our homes are the laboratories of our lives. What we do there determines the course of our lives when we leave home. Dr. Stuart E. Rosenberg wrote in his book The Road to Confidence, "Despite all new inventions and modern designs, fads and fetishes, no one has yet invented, or will ever invent, a satisfying substitute for one's own family."
A happy home is but and earlier heaven.
Thomas S. Monson

I totally love that quote. It is such a good one. It always makes me wonder what my kids think of our home and if I am teaching, guiding, and raising them in the direction that I should.

What do you teach anyways?

Hi Ang!
My husband and I teach a Temple Preperation Class and I also teach Relief Society. I read that quote and it really made me think about my responsibilities as a wife and mother! Hope everything is going well for you and your family!
