I am a little behind on the Spring Break update! This year we decided to head south for Spring Break for several reasons! This year the kids were out for 1 full week so we actually felt like we had time to go somewhere and not feel rushed. It had been a while since we had visited Adam's grandparents and found out that Grandpa Shawn and Grandma Kim we coming to visit as well! It had been 1 year since we had seen them. Not to mention we were ready to enjoy some warm weather!! It has been a very long winter and what a better place to head but the St. George area!! It had actually snowed the day before we left! The kids absolutely love going to Great Grandpa and Grandma Heaton's house because there is so much for them to do. They love playing in Grandpa's hay barn, running through the corals, playing on all the grass, grandma giving them ANY treat they want, and being able to play with cousins!! It doesn't get any better than that!!! It's so nice for us adults to just visit and catch up on things!!
Aryn was showing all the kids how to play four square.
Most of the time we just "hung out" at the house so the kids could play but one day we broke away and went to the St. George Temple. It was so nice to enjoy the feeling and beautiful grounds. It was nice to take the kids so they could observe. There were several brides walking around in their beautiful wedding dresses!! Our girls get so excited about that! Adam and I realized that the only other temple we had taken them to was Salt Lake (Temple Square). I am so grateful we took time out to take them there. As we were walking back to the car Kaitlyn looked up at me and said, "I think I felt the spirit mom! I felt really warm when I was sitting on the step of the Temple." I am so grateful for my family! I am so grateful for the blessings of the Temple. I was so nice to be able to enjoy it with our sister-in-law and her children.
I love this Picture!! I think the kids stayed out in the barn pretty much all day besides a few drink and snack breaks!! They constantly talk about the barn!! I think they would live there if we would let them. They have made lots of memories playing with cousins in the barn!!
