Adam's sister Meagan was married on September 23, 2011 in the Dallas Texas LDS Temple! We had the opportunity to meet Matt in April and figured that a wedding wasn't too far away. :) Megan and Matt make a great couple! They are perfect for each other! I weekend went fast as there were many things going on. All of Adam's siblings came, which made it the first time they had all been together in a long time. There was much excitement which can be expected when everyone gets together! The sealing was wonderful! It was neat to be in the temple with them and witness an eternal family begin. The sealer gave them some great advice, that reminded me of what Pres. Eyring said about temple marriage. Quote: "Everyone has the privilege and opportunity to have a temple marriage, but the choices you make and the way you live after, will determine if it's a celestial marriage." Megan was a great example to our girls. When things got rough, Megan kept going! Her car was stolen only a few days before the wedding and a few other obstacles tried to get in the way. The reception was wonderful! They had many people come and congratulate them. Adam was asked to be the MC at the reception. That was a first for him. He did a fantastic job! The girls cousins volunteered to be the gift takers and thought that was the greatest job! Just minutes before the bride and groom were going to leave we realized that their car had not yet been decorated! We knew we didn't have time to leave and get back before they left so we scrambled to find things to use. Wouldn't you know...Kourtney came prepared! She pulled out a bar of soap to write with and cans to tie behind the car. She saved the night! My partner in crime Mubeen :) and I went to town on the car with the help from the nieces and nephews! We all blew bubbles as they left for their honeymoon. We wish Megan and Matt a lifetime of love and happiness! Tuesday, October 4, 2011
